About Me

I began the practice of yoga over 20 years ago and found it to be a stabilizing force throughout the years caring for my young children. After moving to the US from the UK in 2009

I decided to formally train as a yoga instructor. I began with 200hr training with Yogafit and more recently completed 300 hours training with Mark Stephens in Santa Cruz. Along the path I have trained with other great teachers,  Camella Nair, Matece Skow, Jill Miller, and Leslie Kaminoff.

I spent many years teaching gentle yoga for the YMCA as well as running my own yoga classes in the Santa Cruz mountains where I live. Currently I am working on adding retreats and a 200hr training in gentle yoga to my offerings. I want to make teacher training available to everyone.

My goal in my work is to cultivate a nurturing environment which facilitates deep relaxation and a sense of peace. It is here that true transformation can occur. I believe it is this that is lacking in a go-go society. Helping students find balance is the key leading a happier, healthier, life.

When not practicing yoga, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, and being in nature, loving the mountains and the beach in equal measures. I love pretending I am an artist and have recently taken up pottery making.

Gentle Yoga with Nidra

Surrender to Your Mat

This is a gentle flowing yoga class, allowing for mindful movement and breath work, helping to cultivate the mind-body connection. The latter portion of the class is devoted to the guided meditation Yoga Nidra. Students are led into a state of deep nourishing relaxation.

Restore and Renew

Midweek Restorative Yoga

This gentle restorative yoga class is suitable for all.  Take time out of your busy schedule midweek to come home to yourself. You will be guided through a series of relaxing fully supported yoga poses in which letting go is the key.


To help you find space in your mind, there will be breath work, guided meditation, and poetry. Leave with a sense of calm and strength and the ability to devote your best self to family, health, your career and community.
